Wendy is a Texas Panhandle native who loves God, her family, & antiquing. Her hometown is Wildorado, Texas, just outside of Amarillo. When visiting Alley Katz you can find her booths upstairs. Just head up the West staircase and look for her sign, "Wendy's Vintage Soul". Wendy operates two adjacent booths full of treasures you can't resist! Items to remind you of childhood: like Tonka trucks, doll trunks & buggies, and that lunch box you carried to school. Collectors delights such as railroad lanterns, pie birds, Fire King, Pyrex, old typewriters, signs and much more.
Wendy's love of all things old was heavily influenced by her dad. He was a collector who recognized that there was a use for everything, and as he would say "I might need this someday". This resonated with Wendy, who set out to save old treasures sleeping in old barns and attics. Wendy and her husband, Ron, team up to search for the the great treasures that you will find in her booth. You won't regret stopping in for a loot at "Wendy's Vintage Soul" booth 805 inside Alley Katz.
